Learning Pages is the arm of LEARNING PAGES which deals exclusively with Emotional Intelligence it provides the expertise, development, training for individuals and organisations aimed at maximising efficiency and potential through the use of Emotional Intelligence. Utilising the principles of Emotional Intelligence and Brain Based Learning, our approach is at the cutting-edge of current psychological thinking and, through the innovative use of modern technology, we have developed mechanisms that integrate with traditional trainer-led programmes to ensure lasting benefit to the trainees and a wide-range of resources to ensure that those principles and techniques taught are fully embedded for lifelong achievement. Our courses are provided throughout schools across the UK along with an extensive range of training packages for the corporate market. In addition, we also offer a selection of training courses and resources for individuals wishing to improve their performance, specialising in self development, parenting and child development.
Roy J. Paget is a neuroscientist and a leading authority on Brain Based Learning and the educational and academic achievements of children. He has devoted his life’s work to raising human potential and personal effectiveness and his unique approach to training and development has assisted companies from here and abroad to dramatically increase their business.
Since gaining his Ph.D. in right brain thinking, Roy has become a highly respected author, lecturer, TV and radio personality and consultant. In his clinical work, he has also successfully treated hundreds of people in their personal quest for harmonious and balanced lives. He is also the founder of the British Academy of Advanced Training, a company dedicated to empowering both people and organisations towards achieving greater success and increasing their performance capability.
Jane Paget (Director)
Co-founder and Administration Manager of Paget and Partners, Jane Paget has worked extensively alongside Dr Paget for 16 years and previously developed the British Academy of Advanced Training to be one of the leading providers of educational training and development training in the UK. Jane coordinates and manages the administration and financial side of Learning Pages and ensures the smooth running of the organisation through her many years of management experience.
Shahid Akmal (Director)
Shahid Akmal is the Managing Director of Exquisitus Ltd, a Management and Consultancy company that specialises in Diversity and Islamic Cultural Awareness training and development. He has trained many of the UK’s leading organisations and companies including the NHS, Metropolitan Police and the Greater London Authority. He is also our lead trainer and has also written, planned and presented a number of TV programmes, the most popular being ‘Ramadhan Reflections’, on Zee TV for the last three years.
Shahid is a member of the UK Interfaith Network and a regular speaker on the University and College circuit. He has delivered talks to audiences of all faith (and non-faith) backgrounds in the UK and abroad. He has participated in dialogue / debate many times and is regularly the Muslim contributor to the Jewish / Christian / Muslim '3 Faith Forum' trilogues. He serves on the Harrow Metropolitan Police Consultative Committee Group. He was the Muslim contributor at the commemorative service for Diana, the Princess of Wales at the Peterborough Cathedral.
